Kings Bay Athletics Provides Sports Equipment & Apparel for the Community of Miami

Kings Bay Athletics, the “one stop” shop for sports equipment, and apparel has serviced local sports organizations, schools, and businesses in Miami, FL for almost 40 years. The store located on 14465 South Dixie Highway is an authorized dealer and has an inventory that allows them to offer customers the latest brands, and gear for a variety of sports.

As a family run-business, Kings Bay Athletics only has one site in Florida. The owner David Lund, has another branch in Savage, Minnesota. Although, there is only one store location in Miami the arrangement allows the store’s staff to be more hands-on with their customers. In doing so, the outcome has resulted in returning customers. For almost 40 years, the customers of the athletic shop have been kids who turned into parents who then continue the tradition of coming to Kings Bay Athletics.

According to one of the store’s manager Mike Soto, “We’ve been true to our customers. Our customer base is a long tradition of family members that have been coming for long periods of time. You know kids after kids, parents that were kids who were coming here. We strive on giving the best customer service possible. People that knows us know that’s what it’s about, and they enjoy the atmosphere here.”
